Hoping to build on last year's successful season, the Warriors volleyball team looks to first-year coach Alisha Kimbro to take them to the next level. Kimbro, a Division 1 player for Wright State University, brings outstanding coaching experience to the Warriors.
Last season, the Warriors fell in the first round of the regional tournament, losing a heartbreaker to Joy Christian--a marathon match that went all five games. Key returnees this season include seniors Ramona Coroban and Michaela Smyly and junior Courtney VanErstvelde. The Warriors will need to come out strong in their first four matches, in hopes of riding a wave of momentum to the first round of tournaments.
