Fine Arts - Education in the Arts is critical in the development of a balanced, well-informed life. Creativity enhances our appreciation and understanding of our everyday experiences. At The Orme School, students are encouraged to explore the Arts and Humanities as a vital enrichment to their academic lives.

Orme currently offers a variety of fine art classes in
Visual Arts, Music, and Drama

The Fine Arts Festival is held annually in February. Nationally respected artists spend 1 week with Orme students conducting workshops and directing students in creative arts.
The Orme Student Art Club meets alternate Thursdays from 6:15 to 7:30 in the Stone Shop
Coffee House - The Student Art Club sponsors a Coffee House monthly in the Lou Alfred Room. The Coffee House is MC'd by students and both students and faculty are welcom to perform. The evening includes poetry reading, story telling, singing, instrumentals, skits, and comedy. Coffee, chai tea, hot chocolate, and other refreshments are sold by the Art Club.

In the Giving Spirit
It seems as though every year we do some Spring Cleaning in our homes and we end up with a pile of items we are not quite sure what to do with. Well, you can always donate them to The Orme School of Arizona! In addition to our annual fund needs for operations (approximately $15,000 to $20,000 a year), every year the Fine Arts Department has a wish list for slightly used items you might have in your attic, closet or garage sale box.
