The Orme School of Arizona is proud to present its new Sustainability Guest Lecture Series for 2009-10. We will be scheduling some exciting guest speakers and presentations. This page will be updated during the year with information on those special events as new items are added. Please check back from time to time for the latest news.

Our Guest Lecture Series is open to the public, and we invite you to attend any of these events during the year. Founder and Director of the ZERI Foundation, Mr. Pauli is also an economist, author, father, United Nations Honor Recipient, and former President of Ecover, a highly successful manufacturer of environmentally friendly detergents, where he built the world's first "zero emissions factory."

TOPIC:  Mayer of Clarkdale, Mr. Von Gausig  will be discussing the Clarkdale Sustainability Park, a large renewable energy project in the Town of Clarkdale that will supply clean energy, provide new park and nature space, and reduce greenhouse gases.

TOPIC: Arizona Renewable Energy, including passive solar design approaches, use of local materials, photo voltaics, wind power, rainwater harvesting, and alternative liquid fuels for cars and trucks. Bill is the School's current architect, spouse of an Orme alumna, and father of two former Orme students.
