Part and Full-time Faculty and Staff Position Openings

Faculty Openings 

All faculty positions include residential, activity or athletic responsibilities such as coaching a major sport or being an athletic trainer. They may, or may not, include housing. The School is located in an isolated, remote part of Arizona.

Environmental Education/Energy/and Plant Interns

Being sought to work with an innovative education team in a great rural setting. Environmental Education Intern will assist with integrating the School's new Sustainability Program into its curriculum. The Energy Intern will conduct an inventory of energy resources and needs, and conduct an analysis of existing physical systems. The Energy Intern will also provide technical support for establishing a monitoring system and database related to a new 30 meter anemometer and 10 meter wind turbine. The Plant Intern will assist in identification and description of native and introduced plant species on school grounds. The goal will be to complete a vegetation map as a historical baseline and tool for creating an arboretum. All internships are approximately 10 hours per week, and include room and board. Band Director/Performing Arts Instructor

Seeking talented individual with experience teaching and directing an instrumental ensemble, as well as facilitating performing arts classes, culminating in two annual performances. Students come from diverse backgrounds, so an eclectic music approach is appreciated. Folk, rock, jazz and/or pop are preferred over a traditional orchestra. Performing Arts may include drama, theater production, film, multi-media and/or dance. Candidate must be willing to relocate and immerse themselves into a residential program that includes participating in faculty duties, committees, and team teaching opportunities. Newly renovated theater, room and board, and an annual salary are included in a beautiful and unique residential setting in central Arizona.

This position may also be divided into two part-time internships with monthly stipends. If you are an enthusiastic teaching artist with experience in either instrumental or performing arts, please state your preference in cover letter.
