Welcome to the Orme School webpage!
It is an honor to be named the Interim Headmaster at the Orme School. I began the position on May 15, 2013 and will serve through the 2013-2014 school year.
I come to Orme with over 37 years of experience in education, including work in private, public and international school settings. I also served on the Orme Board of Trustees from 1996 to 2009. My wife Karen (Erickson) has a long kinship to Orme through family relations and years as a summer camper and Camp counselor. I may be prejudiced, but I love this place!
I am bringing my experience and expertise in school accreditation to help establish the foundation for our school accreditation visit, which is scheduled for the spring of 2015.
My role as Interim Headmaster is to provide a stable and safe environment for our students while focusing on instruction and learning. My goal is to hand over Orme to a new Headmaster who will be ready to take Orme to new heights as one of the most unique boarding schools in the Southwest.
